Army (II Edition - Talks)
Well, that was how we were introduced to our BTMC life. Slowly, we had lessons on putting everything together. For example, netting our helmet and putting our LBV together. Then we had the ever friendly talk by Maj(retired) dunno who to ask us buy insurance scheme. That guy damn pro. Made ALL OF US EMO!! Haha. It was quite funny now that you think of it. All 200++ bo tak guys becoming sad after hearing real life stories of how NSF died. Some of them died in accidents and in the end became a sort of fillal money to their parents. Some of the story were damn touching. In the end we learn one thing.

Don't ever think your life is yours and yours alone. You are so selfish. People around you are also affected. You just don't wanna know.
Many others tried to talk us into buying magazine as if their products are the best. Haha. They are really doing their job man. They are trying so hard. Too hard somethings until their gifts are so good like 1GB mp3 player.
Of course there are talks that ask us to sign on for the nation. Be it the Army Airforce or the Navy. Captains of the respective place will come and talk to us about the vocation and what they do. It is working life. The pay is also quite competitive with the otherside world. Normally after they talk for around 1 hour, they will finish and ask us to leave the room. Those interested in staying can stay behind. Normally, around 5 person out of the 200+ will stay back. It is really sad. At least from my point of view. Imagine you put in so much effort into asking people to sign on then less then 1% feedback comes back. It's really demoralizaing. But yeh, these uncle did it anyway.
Sometimes, the admin really get F-up then we will spent time waiting in the leature room. There was once we waited and waited for almost 1 damn hour. However, that time was used to talk cock and really stupid stuff. In the end the leature was cancelled and we were told to return to our bunks for further instrutions.
