Enough
I was just watching this show about swapping life with another when it invoke a spark in me. What is it about people that are not satisfied with their lives.
Personally, i felt that life would be interesting to be a magician. Not to the real life context but of ancient life context. Eg to learn how to create fire or any other elemental attirbutes with basic understanding of nature. Afterwhich, leaving hometown to see what the world lies ahead for you.
Now, if you think in a different sense what will the 'magician' think? I think they might be envious of us. To study, to start a carrer and start a family. They on the other hand have to face the wrath of nature, the bitterness of leaving home and wondering of the world by themselves. It is certain that the thrill and adventure is a good payoff. However, what is the opportunity cost involved?
Perhaps we are all trapped in our own little worlds. Putting yourself in other person shoes is just an expression. Maybe as humans we cannot (or put it in another sense) unable to understand what has been given.
Is there ever a word such as 'enough' to begin with? Or humans just created the word just so that can use 'enough' for the bad happenings and kindly ignore it when it comes to good occurrences. Simalarly, in an economics concept, ceteris paribus is virtually of no existence.
I wonder when the world is ready to face itself with the word 'enough'. I just hope people would just sit down and think. Think of those that need not be thought off. Perhaps afterwhich we can gain more insights on what lies ahead.
Well, this certainly makes up for the lack of updates.
